Partnering with VEAP for a Year-Round Food Drive
This year, we’ve partnered with VEAP (Volunteers Enlisted to Assist People) for a year-round food drive to support families in need. And we want you to be part of this effort! Here’s how: whether you’re a current Minneapolis Singles member or thinking about joining, when you contribute to our VEAP food drive, you’ll receive exclusive promotions. Members and non-members alike can donate, and non-members will receive a 20% off of their membership when they come in.
In addition to shelf-stable food and fresh produce, VEAP also accepts and highly encourages donations of household products like laundry detergent, toilet paper, soap, paper towels, shampoo, toothpaste, deodorant and all other home and personal hygiene products (including feminine hygiene items and adult diapers). VEAP also accepts pet food for our visitors with furry ones at home, as well as children’s books (baby board books, chapter books and middle/high school books.
Supporting the Tunnel to Towers Foundation
We continue to support the Tunnel to Towers Foundation, an organization that holds a special place in our hearts. Each month, Minneapolis Singles donates to this incredible charity that honors fallen first responders, veterans, and their families by providing mortgage-free homes. It’s our way of giving back to those who’ve sacrificed so much for our safety and freedom.
Through our contributions to Tunnel to Towers, we hope to inspire both our mature singles in Minneapolis and professional singles alike to find ways to support causes they care about—because building a relationship on shared values is priceless.
Toys for Tots: Bringing Joy to Kids in Need
The holiday season is around the corner, and we’re excited to announce that Minneapolis Singles is now an official Toys for Tots drop-off location! We invite all local singles in Minneapolis, both members and prospective members, to join us in spreading some holiday cheer by donating new, unwrapped toys. As a token of appreciation, those who donate will receive special discounts and promotions on their membership.
